Canada Post Out of Order

Discount Code Example

On the discount coupons page under orders, vendors have the ability to create special discount codes. To begin, vendors should fill out the coupon code with the text that will generate the discount. In the example provided below, the coupon codes were COUPON$50OFF, FREECOUPON, and TRADE.

Next, vendors can enter their coupon discount requirements. Selecting "absolute" means that the exact number entered will be removed from the order during checkout. Choosing "percentage" will take a specific percentage off the order. Vendors can also choose how many times the code can be used in general or per customer.  In order for codes to work, the quantity and times to be used need to be higher than 1.

Additionally, vendors can choose between making the coupon active or disabled under the status column.

For vendors who wish to trade items without any costs or shipping fees, they will need to select the item first by clicking "browse" on the right bottom corner of the screen. Once the item is selected, vendors should fill out the coupon code, coupon discount, times used, and status. If the vendor would like the product to be free with no shipping, they should select both the "free product" and "free shipping" boxes.
